It was the spring of 2018, I had recently separated from my husband and partner of 13 years. We have a beautiful three year old son Charlie. It was during the hardest time in my life, the nights I was away from Charlie that I needed to find a creative outlet (besides the occasional glass of whiskey)
I always had a love of all things vintage and unique. I never thought of myself as a creative person at all.
I started slowly putting pieces together and saying to myself “hey, that’s not bad!” I gained more self confidence and put all of my positive energy and focus into what now has become my second child.
I am a working mom, holding down two day jobs, making the best of the time with my son and now small business owner.
There is enough guilt to go around for any parent, so I make a conscious effort to let it go and focus on the positives. I may have a hectic schedule, and, as a result, Charlie will learn how to be independent and self-reliant.
All you need is an idea and some serious drive. I am learning as I go and am always looking and seeking feedback and advice from those around me. Looking forward to what the future holds!
